Most of my life I have been in the construction industry however I have also carried a real estate license and built, owned and managed a modest log cabin resort in the mountains of Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. I recently completed an associates degree in Auto Cad at Southwest Florida College and will be completing my Bachelors degree in Business Administration in the fall of 2011. I live in Cape Coral, Florida which allows me to fish in the ocean and do a little golfing from time to time. Commercial construction I would have to say is my forte however I believe I could handle just about any management position very well. I have worked for the S.A.M. Drywall Inc. for almost 8 years now and had planned on retiring there but they have closed their doors. I have been in the construction industry for 20 years. Most of my career I have been in a supervisory role. I am a good motivator due to my strong work ethics and insistence on quality. Position: Project Manager / General Superintendent
Job Description: Coordinated work between management, estimating, and field supervisors. Was point man for Green building projects and worked closely with General Contractors, Developers, Suppliers and subcontractors. Created project budgets and interpreted bids utilizing the On-Screen software program. Worked with estimating staff interpreting plans, specifications.
Projects
Government projects such as schools, N.A.S.A., Patrick Air Force Base, The D.E.A. office in Homestead and many Fire Stations. Other notable projects are Light House Bay and Rapallo at the Brooks Village in Bonita Springs and million dollar homes in Lely resort for Stock Development , Arthrex Medical Facility in Naples, Bigham Galleria in Naples, Extra Space Storage in Miami, Several Kohls Department stores in the state of Florida, Several Publix Shopping Centers in Florida, multiple Sweetbay projects in Florida , restaurants such as Carraba's, Brio Tuscan Grill, Arizona Pizza, Mimi's at Bell Tower, banks including several Fifth Third projects, multiple Sun Trusts, P.N.C. in Lake Worth, several C.V.S. Accomplishments: Expansion Support. Worked with the owner to successfully maintain the overall production of every position in the company, which brought the company from a half-million dollar start-up company to a fourteen million dollar company within three years.

2000 to 2002 Adams Drywall
In charge of all projects, manpower, materials, scheduling, document development, Constructware correspondence.
Accomplishments: Used my organizational skills to evaluate and reconstruct the company into a profitable and well organized company. Within one year of my employment, made the company profit by reevaluating current salaried employees and the supervision of supplies ordered for jobs.
1996 to 2004 – The Heavens Cabins/Country View Cabin Rentals
Successfully built and maintained a five cabin and Victorian Home resort in Tennessee. Supervised and performed all maintenance, booked reservations personally greeted guests, built and maintained website.
Accomplishments: Started the cabin business from one cabin to four within 2 years. Within one year was able to purchase the Victorian Home. Sold the resort for a substantial profit before the market dropped.
1990 to 1996 Superintendent-E&K Construction Orlando
Accomplishments: My last project at E&K was the real estate center at Disney Celebration in Orlando. It was a tight schedule and being the design center it was changed quit often. Because their were several projects going on in celebration at the same time I also was asked to complete other area’s unfinished by others and aids other trades in completion of the project. I also worked the original Ripley's Believe it or not off International drive which leans 8 1/2 degrees to give it the effect of sinking into a sink hole.
1989 to 1990 – Superintendent – Macione Company
Started with completing several projects already in progress. Renovated a 15,000 square foot building in Orland for James E. Strait Shows.
Accomplishments: The Company had been having problems before I arrived but he made enough money off the job I had done to get his company back to being a profitable company.
1986 to 1989 – General Contractor, Ed Taylor Construction – Superintendent
Supervised renovations of commercial buildings in the Orlando area.
